APPLICATION
THPC-Urea is a highly effective flame retardant for cotton fabric. For cotton fabric treatment, THPC-Urea can be diluted with water to the desired concentration. The optimal chemical dosage is 50% for 10,000 meter of and its usage procedures as the following:
PROCEDURES
Rinse and complete wetted the wool with water.
Prepare a tank of fresh water and add 50% of THPC-Urea based on weight of water.
After that add in nonionic penetrate chemicals, polyethylene oxide ether compounds and organosilicon softener.
Soak the wool into the mixture for 10-15 minutes.
Later proceed to ammonia steam process for 10-15 minutes and this process is to ensure that the flame-retardant bind tightly with the wool.(Ammonia: Water :10:60).
Last step wash the wool with detergent and rinse it with hot water at temperature 90-95ºC, to get rid of residual of ammonia.
